FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is situated in the largest industrial location in northern Italy. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide array of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
The company started crane production in the year 1963. Over time, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and makes 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machinery are engineered and designed for a variety of applications and there are available units that can cover all construction requirements.
Several units offer really flexible lifting options for businesses who are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other units comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are both extremely adaptable and user friendly. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are regular tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These kinds of cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are located in close proximity to each other.
