The S-boom telescopic booms by Genie have been equipped with an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined areas during industrial and construction jobs. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great drive speed and traction. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide quick, easy positioning for operators.
The Z-135/70 unit has a telescoping jib, known as the Jib-Extend, that goes from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This model can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs which were previously inaccessible by standard jibs. The Z-80/60 unit's secondary reverse-articulating boom gives the user 8.83 meters of over and up reach. This feature allows over and up reaching jobs to be completed with zero front arm swing.
Genie also provides the Fast Mast system that allows for precious time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms have to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be fully raised at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing both efficiency and production.
