Narrow Aisle Forklift
Utilized to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage spaces which are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This model is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, like for instance warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires which make maneuvering simple.
Normally, the operator of this particular type of forklift stands up within a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This configuration enables for easy and fast maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts that are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment could pivot to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole equipment. The sit-down version generally has four wheels.
An electric engine is used to power numerous narrow aisle forklifts. Machines which are electrically powered do not make exhaust fumes and are not noisy, making them the preferred alternative for closed places like for instance retail spaces. Some lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Then again, the diesel version is not suggested to be used indoors as it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
