Powertrain
A lift truck has to be tough enough to last for many hours of heavy use in extreme environments. These machines need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast while still being ergonomic to the operator. The reliable, rugged Yale powertrain provides excellent durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer managed transmission and engine and extremely robust shafts and gears. The engine, transmission, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated so as to reduce noise and vibration in the operator's compartment.
Electrical
The lift trucks electrical system is responsible for connecting the major nerve centers of the truck. Hence, the electrical system within the lift truck must be really reliable and durable for the most demanding hot/cold and wet/dry operations. There is much sophistication needed in order to control truck functionality.
Delivering reliable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system utilizes digital technology and reduces electrical connections and lessens wiring as well. This results in awesome serviceability and improved reliability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force needed to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic parts. Several of these parts consist of: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically placed to be able to prolong part life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts offer extreme reliability and are known for withstanding harsh working conditions and coming out on top. These machines have been constructed in such a precise way that attention to detail has been considered so as to keep the operator as comfortable as possible.
